This week students completed their historical timelines, spelling quiz and paragraph editing. Students also completed their Identity Flags and written paragraphs that explain the symbolism found on their flags. If the flags and paragraphs were not completed during class time, students can finish the project over the weekend. For this coming week, students can practice the following list of spelling words: much He seems to talk too much. Basic get I get nervous when my mom stares at me. This week, students have worked on editing paragraphs that contain spelling and grammatical errors. Students also completed a spelling quiz which they self-corrected. In social studies, we have learned about the concept of personal identity, by creating "name art" and personal timelines that include important events in student lives.
